MAMBRINO BAPTIST CHURCH
MAMBRINO BAPTIST CHURCH
OUR MINISTRIES
WORSHIP
Mambrino Baptist Church gathers together weekly at 11 am to worship God. We follow a pattern of revelation and response by which we hear from God's Word and respond with praise, thanksgiving, confession, and prayers for one another. You can serve by singing, playing an instrument, running sound or projection equipment, gathering offerings, and praying. To get involved please contact Kirkland Storseth.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Mambrino Baptist Church offers Bible study groups for all ages each Sunday at 9:45 am. From the crib to high school graduation, we help parents disciple their children. We use the Truth78 curriculum designed to equip children with a joyful knowledge of God through Christ, a Christian worldview, and the ability to read and understand the Bible for life. Our adult classes vary from core seminars, verse-by-verse book studies, and topical studies. Children and youth are welcome to join these adult classes. Greeters are at the doors to the worship center and will help you find the best class.
MISSIONS
We are devoted to fulfilling the Great Commission through personal evangelism and missionary support. Our regular efforts are spent praying for missionaries and providing the financial resources needed to make disciples, plant churches, and raise up indigenous leaders. Most of our support is giving through the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. We also support individual missionaries. When possible, we take trips to encourage these missionaries and help them do their work. Contact one of our pastors if you want to get involved.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
We love children and make their safety and spiritual growth a top priority. All our volunteers have completed back ground checks and safety training through Ministry Safe. Our nursery is available during Sunday School and the worship gathering each Sunday. The nursery is for children from birth to 18 months and 18 months to 3 years old. There is a space for nursing mothers and parents are always welcome to keep their children in the services. Preschool worship is available during the sermon each week (except for 5th Sundays). Children age three through kindergarten can attend this teaching time. AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and is our Wednesday evening evangelistic and discipleship time. Children age three through 12th grade are challenged to memorize scripture, engage in a teaching time, and have fun at game time. AWANA meets during the school year.
5TH SUNDAY FELLOWSHIPS
Fellowship is one of our core values and fellowship meals help provide opportunities to get to know one another better. Please bring a generous side dish to share with others and stay after the worship gathering for this meal. In good Baptist style, fried chicken is generally provided.
MEN'S MINISTRY
Currently our Men's Ministry is working in two areas: Men's Bible study, and one-on-one discipleship. We want to get to work and we want to build one another up. Join us for our men's Bible study on Thursday mornings, or connect with a pastor for one-on-one discipleship.
Opportunities for women to commune with one another exist through Ladies’ Fellowships, baby showers, and small-group Bible study. Women's Bible studies are offered thoughout the year. They are a great way to delve deeper into the Scriptures, grow in Christ's likeness, and connect on a deeper level with fellow sisters.
